1st Analysis of the race:
At this point its hard to tell who is going to win Governor. The two candidates are only separated by less then 5% and it seems to be changing daily. Although Kitzhaber has more experience and has held the office of Governor before, Dudley is still holding a small lead over his opponent. However his lead seems to slowly be decreasing, and the possibility of Kitzhaber taking the lead is ever present.
I believe John Kitzhaber won because of the experience he has in politics. I think Dudley only got so far because he was an ex athlete. Kitzhaber had better qualifications for the race and he knew what needed to be done in order to get Oregon on the road to recovery. I'm glad Kitzhaber won because he seems like he wanted what's best for the State he is representing.
